Welcome to Morton & Co - "Your One Stop Property Shop"

Morton and Co Ltd was founded in 1906 by the current Managing Director's Grandfather. The company was originally involved in auctioneering, valuation and Real Estate, up until 1987 the company was the principal food and produce auctioneer for South Canterbury. In 1987 this part of the business was sold to Turners and Growers Ltd and the company's operation concentrated on valuation and property consultancy, real estate and auctioneering. Currently the company offers three property related services being:

  1. Real Estate sales involving residential, commercial, industrial and the hospitality industry throughout South Canterbury;
  2. Valuation and Property Consultancy including services of a Registered Valuer and Registered Plant and Machinery Valuer;
  3. Property Management - we currently operate Timaru's largest Rent Roll Property Management business;
The property occupies a prominent site on the corner of Stafford Street, George Street and Cains Terrace .

Morton and Co Ltd is a long established company with a sound history and extensive experience in property related matters in and around South Canterbury. Our logo is "Trusted Since 1906" something that the company is very proud of and will ensure that it will be continued so in the future.
